This is a cargo plane in the Hill Air Force Museum in Roy, Utah. It is a actual plane flown in the Pacific during World War II. There were two different versions of the same plane; this is the smaller one. On June 6th and 7th this year the Thunderbirds are coming for the air show and the larger plane should be at the museum. During the war Dad was in one or the other of these planes to perform an assignment. They needed to rebuild some bridges. He was a supply sergeant and went around in Australia wherever he was stationed and found the supplies to build those bridges. He then held the supplies in the cargo hold while his commanding officer flew to where they were to perform this task. He was going to Guam, I think. If anyone has more details let me know.
Ryan and Jake helped make Christmas costumes for our nativity story. Connor was the perfect size this year for his part. Hailey kept her costume on and Andrew sometimes had his lamb (his costume). We were surprised at how well they made it through the whole thing. We hope to make this a Christmas tradition. I think they enjoy it. We did.
When the family gets together, we have a great time. Connor is our new addition and we love him. Our picture turned out great don't you think? This was our backyard shot during Brent's birthday celebration.
